In view of the instructions issued by UGC vide Lr.No.F.1-53/98(CPP-II) dated 02.04.2004, 5% of seats are earmarked for the children of Indian workers in the Gulf and South Asia out of the 15% superannuated seats for foreign students in University departments.
The reservation under special provision is to be operated on Horizontal basis, that means, if a candidate is selected under the special provision, he shall be adjusted against the category to which he belongs. In case, if no eligible candidate is available in the special provision, then the same shall be filled up by the candidates of general category.
