P.G. Diploma in Yoga Therapy and Stress Management. (Innovative programme)

This is an interdisciplinary course introduced under the innovative programme of the University Grants Commission. The course is aimed at disseminating the theoretical and practical knowledge of Patanjali’s Yoga Sastra, their therapeutic values and their relevance in the maintenance of sound, body, and mind.

                       (1) 22 seats for Regular students of University seeking                                        admission under Dual-Degree Stream.
                        (2) 22 seats for outsiders under the general stream.

Duration: 1 year 
Age: Below 40 years as on 01.06.2021
Medium of instruction: English
Eligibility: Any graduate with second class from a recognized University. Preference will be given to the candidates having Sanskrit as one of the subjects/ proficiency in Sanskrit. In addition, they have to enclose a Physical Fitness Certificate obtained from a certified medical practitioner not below the rank of Assistant Civil Surgeon.
Timings : 6.00 to 8.00 a.m. & 6.00 to 8.00 p.m.

Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Vijnana. (Innovative programme)

Number of seats: 44 (The Administration reserves the right to enhance
                                 the seats under special circumstances subject to                                              availability of teachers.)
                               (1)22 seats for Regular (Face to Face Programmes)                                           students of University seeking admission under Dual-                                       programme Stream.
                               (2)22 seats for outsiders under general stream.
Eligibility:   Any graduate from a recognized University. Preference                                    will be given to the candidates having Sanskrit as one of the                           subjects/proficiency in Sanskrit. In addition, they have to                                enclose Physical Fitness Certificate obtained from a certified                         medical practitioner not below the rank of Assistant                                         Civil Surgeon.

Note: The seats allocated to outsiders falling vacant under the programmes PG Diploma in Yoga and Stress Management or PG Diploma in Yoga Vijnana would be filled up with students studying in the University charging the fees prescribed for University students.

P.G. Diploma in Pourohitya

Duration: One year
Medium of Instruction: Sanskrit & Telugu

Eligibility: Pass in Diploma programme of Pourohitya

P.G. Diploma in Natural Language Processing.

Eligibility: Acharya/any Master’s Degree with Sanskrit preferably in Nyaya,                    Vyakarana and Mimamsa.
